The Williams-Renault FW14B was the most technologically advanced car in Formula 1 history when it was first raced in March of 1992. Putting aside the highly refined aerodynamics, engine and fuel, it also contained all manner of electronic enhancements. The most famous technology from this particular chassis is probably the active suspension. But the FW14B also pioneered traction control, an early form of launch control, and led to massive improvements in braking power through an anti-lock braking system introduced in 1993.
